About RandSwitch Jobs
Plenty of remote job boards exist, but most don't say whether you can apply from South Africa, and none tell you what the pay means in rand. RandSwitch Jobs (formerly RandRemote, part of RandSwitch) filters remote software jobs down to the ones open to SA, Africa, EMEA or anywhere, and shows the salary in ZAR.
Where the jobs come from
We collect listings every hour from Jobicy, Himalayas, Remote OK, Remotive and Working Nomads, following each one's API terms. Every listing credits its source and the Apply button goes to the original posting. We never hide jobs behind a signup. Companies can also post directly.
Who can apply: our three labels
- ✓ South Africa confirmed the posting names South Africa or Africa (or an EMEA list that includes SA), or the employer posted it here for SA applicants.
- ◐ Region eligible open to a region or time-zone range that includes South Africa, such as EMEA or GMT+0 to GMT+3 (SA is GMT+2).
- ? Worldwide, check first listed as worldwide or doesn't say. Many are genuinely open, but some exclude countries in the small print, so check before you apply.
Labels are set automatically from the location and description, so they can be wrong. Always confirm on the original posting. Jobs disappear from the list within about five hours of being removed at the source, and every card shows when we last saw it live.
Who we don't list
We don't accept posts from, or list jobs at, motor-dealer groups or dealer-software companies, so RandSwitch stays independent of the car trade. Our independence rules.
