Basics Type: Independent Contractor Schedule: Flex-Time (5-15 hours/week) Education: Any Work Experience: Any Location: Remote Motu Novu seeks a virtual assistant fluent in American English who will work remotely as an independent contractor to support the firm’s partners in several day-to-day activities, as well as perform certain marketing and business development duties. Occasional, optional international travel to the EU and to the USA. What You Do Develop a comprehensive understanding of working in an international, distributed professional services firm. Develop a comprehensive understanding of Motu Novu’s service offering and client base. Develop a comprehensive understanding of administrative operations, compliance, accounting, HR, and finance. Provide personal and operational support to the firm’s partners. Help manage the inbound and outbound documentation flows. Research markets, products, consumer behavior, and competitors. Assist in the planning, development, and deployment of new physical goods e-commerce stores. Perform operational marketing tasks. Provide pre- and post-sale e-commerce customer support via email, ticket, chat, and telephone. What You Need Confident, poised, and outgoing personality, in both internal and external interactions. Exceptional written and oral communications skills in (American) English. Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality. Demonstrated willingness to study, learn, and carry out tasks in a dependable manner. Proficiency with office productivity tools. Bona-fide setup as an independent contractor. Optionally, familiarity with the GNU/Linux operating system (any distro.) Optionally, working knowledge of e-commerce and e-commerce fulfillment tools. Successful completion of background check.
